Thank you for using Tamar Saddles to check your existing saddle or purchase a used saddle. When buying a second-hand saddle through Tamar Saddles, most will have had a full re-flock. With time and use the flocking will compact and settle, therefore it is recommended that the saddle is checked and re-balanced after 20 hours of riding to ensure a good fit. The above applies for re-flocks of existing saddles, please ensure you book an appointment in suitable time. 

It is not uncommon for horses to change shape over time, this can be because of the change in seasons, an increase/decrease in work, weight loss/gain, age, injuries etc. It is recommended that you have your saddle checked every 4-6 months. If you feel your saddle is making you as a rider unbalanced, is slipping one way or you are not happy with how it is fitting, please get in contact to arrange a visit.
